Consultative Meeting on Operations and Introduction of New Huduma Secretariat Staff

This evening, Public Service and Human Capital Development Principal Secretary, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, chaired a consultative meeting at the Huduma Kenya Secretariat offices in Lonhro House. The session was held to deliberate on operations and formally introduce the newly appointed staff members to the Huduma Secretariat team.

In her remarks, Dr. Imbunya emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration, noting that the integration of new staff into the Secretariat was essential for maintaining seamless service delivery. She urged the existing officers to extend their full support and guidance to the new colleagues for the greater success of the Secretariat’s mandate.

The Principal Secretary further reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening Huduma centres across the country. She explained that the new team members would play a vital role in enhancing efficiency, accountability, and the overall citizen experience in accessing government services.

Dr. Imbunya also highlighted the need for continuous innovation and adaptability in the delivery of public services. She stated that the Secretariat must remain responsive to emerging challenges and committed to excellence in serving citizens.

Huduma Kenya Secretariat CEO, Mr. Ben Kai Chilumo, was also in attendance and expressed his appreciation for the support from the Principal Secretary. He noted that the Secretariat was committed to fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and service to Kenyans.
