Huduma Kenya Partners with UFAA to Enhance Access to Unclaimed Financial Assets Services
Huduma Kenya and Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) have today formalized a strategic partnership to roll out UFAA services across all Huduma Centres countrywide, bringing services closer to the people.
Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority is a State corporation established under the National Treasury pursuant to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Act, No. 40 of 2011.
The Authority is mandated to receive unclaimed financial assets from holders, safeguard them, and reunite them with their rightful owners.
Speaking during the launch at the Machakos Huduma Centre, Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya underscored the importance of deepening service delivery through strategic collaboration and citizen-centered reforms.
She noted that the integration of UFAA services within Huduma Centres reflects the Government’s commitment to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and convenience in public service delivery.
The nationwide rollout will enable Kenyans in all 47 counties to conveniently access information and claim unclaimed financial assets without the need to travel long distances.
The event was graced by Principal Secretary Cyril Oguda (State Department for Investments), Kenya Broadcasting Corporation CEO Ms. Agnes Kalekye, CPA Ben Kai Chilumo, CEO of Huduma Kenya, alongside UFAA leadership and other distinguished guests.
