PS DR IMBUNYA HOSTS KENYA'S HIGH COMMISSIONER TO AUSTRALIA AMB. DR KOGO

The Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr Jane Kere Imbunya, hosted Amb. Dr Wilson K. Kogo, Kenya’s High Commissioner to Australia, during a courtesy call at her office on Friday 27th March, 2026.

The engagement provided a valuable platform to explore strategic areas of collaboration between the State Department and the Kenyan High Commission in Australia, with a strong focus on unlocking employment opportunities for Kenyan youth.

Central to the discussions were potential job linkages within the Australian labour market, aimed at empowering young people through international exposure and gainful employment.

The two leaders also exchanged insights on the ongoing reforms within the public service sector, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing efficiency, accountability, and quality service delivery for all Kenyans.

This meeting marks yet another step forward in strengthening international partnerships that drive youth empowerment and support the transformation of Kenya’s public service.
