PS DR IMBUNYA HOSTS MP CHARLES GIMOSE FOR DEVELOPMENT TALKS

The Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, on Monday, 9th March 2026, hosted Hamisi Member of Parliament Hon. Charles Gimose, who paid her a courtesy call at her office.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed key development priorities aimed at uplifting residents of Hamisi Constituency and Vihiga County at large. Central to their discussions was the need to strengthen youth and women empowerment programmes to expand economic opportunities and support community development.

They also explored ways of enhancing service delivery through the Huduma Mashinani Programme, particularly through the Huduma Centre in Mbale, to ensure that government services are brought closer to wananchi and accessed more efficiently.

The leaders further deliberated on empowering schools within Hamisi Sub-County and the wider Vihiga region through the provision of essential support and resources to improve learning environments and nurture the next generation.

Additionally, they emphasized the importance of mobilizing the people of Vihiga to support the development agenda of President William Samoei Ruto, aligning with the government’s vision of transforming the country’s growth trajectory towards the “Singapore Dream.”
