PS Dr. JANE IMBUNYA JOINS LEADERS IN PAYING LAST RESPECTS TO HUDUMA CEO BEN KAI'S FATHER

Principal Secretary for the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital, Dr. Jane Imbunya, on Friday joined family, friends, government officials, and leaders in Tezo Village in Kilifi County, to pay her last respects during the send-off ceremony of the late father of Huduma Kenya CEO, Mr. Ben Kai.

Dr. Imbunya, who was accompanied by senior officers from her State Department, including Mr. Ombima and Ms. Ndiba, as well as senior officials from Huduma Kenya, described the late as a great servant of God who dedicated his life to nurturing values of faith and discipline in his family. 

She noted that his guidance had a profound impact on raising Mr. Kai into the humble and dedicated public servant he is today.

“I am here with officers from our State Department and Huduma Kenya to condole with my captain, the captain of Huduma Kenya, Mr. Ben Kai, for his loss. His father was a great servant of God who did amazing work in instilling values and life education. Mr. Kai is a humble servant, and I am proud of him and his service to the civil fraternity,” said Dr. Imbunya.

The PS also conveyed condolences on behalf of Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Hon. Geoffrey Rukh and her colleague, PS Fikirini Jacobs, reaffirming the government’s solidarity with the Kai family during this time of grief.

The send-off ceremony was also attended by Kilifi Deputy Governor Flora Mbetsa, Area MP Owen Baya, and former Cabinet Secretary for Gender Aisha Jumwa among others, who joined mourners in celebrating the life and legacy of the late patriarch.
