PS Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya Delivers Lecture at the National Defence College

The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, who also serves as the Chairperson of the National Defence College (NDC) Advisory Board, had the privilege of addressing senior officers and leaders at the National Defence College, Karen on Thursday 4th September, 2025.

Dr. Imbunya delivered a lecture on Research for Policy and Decision-Making, highlighting the critical role of evidence-based research in shaping sound policies and guiding strategic national decisions. She emphasized that research is not only an academic exercise but also a vital tool for effective governance and sustainable development.

Her engagement with the NDC students provided an invaluable platform for sharing insights on how research-driven approaches can strengthen leadership, foster innovation, and ensure that government policies respond effectively to emerging national and global challenges.
