PS IMBUNYA CALLS FOR EXCELLENCE AND INNOVATION IN PUBLIC SERVICE TRAINING

The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr Jane Kere Imbunya, on Wednesday Morning chaired the department’s first senior management meeting this year at Harambee House.

During the meeting, Dr Imbunya commended the department for the progress achieved in delivering its mandate over the 2025 calendar year and the first half of the 2025/2026 Financial Year.

She urged Heads of Departments to fully harness their potential within their respective areas of responsibility in order to surpass the performance recorded in the previous half of the Financial Year.

The Principal Secretary further noted that the public now has a clearer understanding of the role and mandate of the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development.

She emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration among officers, saying this would be key to achieving departmental targets more efficiently.
