PS Imbunya Donates Authored Books to State Department Library

Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya, PhD, has donated 20 copies of books she authored, valued at KSh 100,000, to the State Department’s library at Teleposta.

The donated publications include Competency-Based Curriculum: Implications on Classroom Teaching and Learning, Research Methods Simplified for the 21st Century and Beyond, Constructivism: Implications on Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, and Accountability for Kenya’s Career Readiness.

The books will serve as valuable reference and learning resources for staff, supporting continuous learning, knowledge sharing and professional development within the State Department.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the State Department, CHRP Stephen Wambua Kakulu, Secretary, Human Resource Development, thanked Dr. Imbunya for her generous gesture and commitment to fostering a culture of learning and knowledge development in the Public Service.

He noted that the donation will enrich the State Department’s library and provide staff with access to relevant educational and professional resources.

The gesture by the Principal Secretary underscores the importance of continuous learning and knowledge sharing in strengthening human capital and building a more capable, informed and effective Public Service.
