Strengthening Collaboration: NYS CG Courtesy Call on PS Imbunya

Principal Secretary Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya hosted Mr. James Tembur, Commandant General of the National Youth Service (NYS), during a courtesy call to her office.

Their discussions focused on ongoing NYS programmes and preparations for the upcoming pass-out parade for recruits completing their paramilitary training.

Empowering youth is key to unlocking national progress. Through initiatives like NYS, the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development is playing her rightful role in equipping young people with critical skills, discipline, and opportunities to thrive as change makers in our society.

NYS operates as a Semi-Autonomous Government Agency under the State Department.
